Peter Miglic
Director
Peter believes in work that makes a contribution to our community. Effectively managing structural design risk and compliance is a key focus of Peter’s role in oversight of PSV’s business. Peter aims to provide high quality service and strict independence through the team at PSV Consulting Engineers. He ensures that proven processes and tools are used to provide the most efficient and effective design review and certification service possible. Peter also invests in the business to ensure that all staff have the tools, training, and knowledge to perform their roles capably.
Peter is a registered structural engineer that commenced his professional career in road construction in 1994. He progressed into business and commercial roles while completing an MBA in late 1990s. In Peter’s career he has been involved in engineering design management, structural certification, business management, construction management, and general management. Peter has worked on projects throughout the built environment, from small buildings to some of the largest infrastructure projects in Australia.

Peter Rodrigues – Associate Director
Through Peter’s dedicated work, PSV has grown to be the structural certifier of choice in Australia and leads the field in the structural certification of major projects. Today Peter is mainly involved in coaching and mentoring the team at PSV. He leverages his 45 years of experience in the structural design review and certification of buildings, contributing to the safety and compliance on some of the Melbourne CBD’s most iconic building projects. Formerly Principal Officer and Chief Engineer – Building Branch for Melbourne City Council, Peter has built a career on steering the City’s built environment towards safe and responsible development that aligns with the NCC and Australian Standards.
Peter has been responsible for the structural certification of most major projects and high-rise buildings in Victoria. He has previously managed teams of engineers to certify iconic projects such as the MCG, Melbourne’s Exhibition and Convention Centre, the Melbourne Park Redevelopment, AAMI Stadium, the Royal Children’s Hospital Redevelopment, the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre, and a number of high-rise residential buildings.

Vije is a dynamic and determined engineer with over 21 years of structural engineering design and project management experience. This experience includes work as a construction project manager, specialising in deep basements and high-rise structures, leading engineering teams, and delivering complete engineering projects.
He is an expert in the design, documentation, and certification of medium and high-rise residential apartments, commercial, retail, and commercial buildings. Vije’s experience extends to inspection of works and rectification proposals. He provides leading technical advice on safe designs and constructions to builders and architects.

Associate
Paul has over 20 years of professional experience in structural and civil engineering design across commercial, industrial, education, health and aged care, and residential/multipurpose apartment buildings. He also offers significant proficiency in construction and has successfully managed many end-to-end projects from concept design to completion and the securing of occupancy permits. He understands the importance of on-time delivery of projects, has demonstrated expertise managing engineering resources, and gained effective experience of design for better buildability.
He is an expert utilising computer software programs for the analysis and design of structures and has strong knowledge of concrete and steel design methods, Australian and international standards, products, and detailing. Associate
Bala is an accomplished engineer with over two decades of experience in engineering, stands a pillar of expertise in the realms of residential, industrial, commercial, educational, government and age care sectors. Armed with a Bachelor of Science Engineering (Civil) with Honors and a Master of Engineering in Structural Forensic, Bala’s academic prowess is complemented by his practical achievements.
As a Chartered Professional Member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust / CPEng) and a recognized Professional Engineering (PE) in Civil Engineering, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his projects. Bala’s extensive portfolio includes notable contributions to projects.

Samaneh Ehsani

Samaneh has gained experience over the 15 years that she has been with PSV in a wide variety of structures including commercial high rise, stadiums, hospitals and residential buildings. She has a strong knowledge of the Australian Standards and excellent communications skills.
