LOREM IPSUM

Footscray Hospital

The new Footscray Hospital will help meet the changing and growing health needs of Melbourne’s west, where the population is predicted to grow by 60 percent in the next 20 years.

The project comprises primarily of:

  • Two basement levels and an integrated ground floor across the full extent of the site
  • A four-level carpark
  • Two commercial buildings of up to five levels,
  • A five-level day procedure hospital fronting Ballarat Road, and the main emergency hospital of 12 storeys fronting Geelong Road.

The main emergency hospital requires a more rigorous analysis and design consideration to the new AS3600 – 2018 concrete standard to cater for Post Disaster Recovery. Both hospital buildings will feature V columns that extend between the ground floor and level two.
