Wool Handler Workshops
Primary Skills Victoria, funded by Australian Wool Innovation Ltd., and supported by local industry and training organisations, is coordinating a series of wool industry "taster" programs for young people in local areas where skills shortages have been identified.
Local secondary school students are given the opportunity to gain a range of skills and experience in the various occupations available in their local wool industry.
Programs have been proposed to be conducted throughout 2012/13 in local areas of south west and northern Victoria.
