Conservation and Land Management Details about the
training package can be found at In Victoria Conservation and Land Management (CLM) training has been delivered to the qualifications Diploma in Natural Resource Management and a Certificate II in Australian Land Conservation and Restoration. In the late 1990s a number of industry groups from around Australia began developing competency standards, working toward the production of a national training package. This process has now been completed. The industry sectors that have been identified in the development of the CLM Training Package represent a far wider range than previously covered by the Certificate II and the Diploma in Natural Resource Management. The sectors covered in the new training package are: 1. Community Co-ordination and Facilitation 2. Conservation Earthworks 3. Indigenous Land Management 4. Lands, Parks and Wildlife 5. Natural Area Restoration 6. Vertebrate Pest Management 7. Weed Management The following qualifications will be available based on one of the above seven streams.
